- 1 cup very thinly sliced karela (bitter melon or bitter gourd)
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp chili lime seasoning I love the Trader Joe's brand
Slice the karela (bitter melon or bitter gourd) into very thin slices. Remove the seeds and the white flesh from the inside.
Heat olive oil in a pan.
Add karela and stir.
Add the chili lime seasoning.
Let the karela cook for around 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are slightly cooked and slightly charred.
