Vegan Mint Oreo Milkshake
Who loves milkshakes??? Are you screaming, ME ME ME !!!! Well, if you are not, then you haven’t tried this wonderful, minty, creamy, delicious milkshake. The truth is I am actually not a fan of REAL milkshakes, because I find them so rich and thick. For a person who doesn’t like the flavor of cow’s milk, a milkshake doesn’t sound appealing. However, I LOVEEEEE VEGAN milkshakes, especially when made with oat milk. The taste is totally different and I actually prefer it because it does not give me bloating or indigestion afterwards. No need for a TUMS.
I also LOVEEEEE thin mint Oreos. They are probably one of my favorite cookies in the world and they are VEGAN!!!! Who would have guessed that Oreos are vegan, but they are! I topped this with Oatly’s mint chocolate chip ice cream, which is SO delicious and better than the regular dairy version.
Being a vegan isn’t really that hard for me, because I don’t like dairy milk or dairy ice cream and frankly, I can live without dairy cheese. However, I haven’t transitioned to full vegan yet. There are multiple reasons why, but I try my best to limit my dairy intake whenever possible. One day, I will make the leap and the full transition, slowly but surely!
Vegan Mint Oreo Milkshake
Ingredients
- 2 cups oat milk
- 1/2 cup dairy free mint chocolate chip ice cream
- 1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate
- 1 drop green food coloring
- 10 crushed mint Oreos
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients together, except the crushed Oreos.
- Top the milkshake with 1-2 scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream and crushed Oreos.
- Say a prayer of gratitude and enjoy!
